We serve with compassion and reliability.

Frequently Asked Questions

Once you have chosen our agency to care for your loved one, we will develop a general plan of care for your approval. This plan of care can be amended as needed or as desired.

Why should I use A Chaplain's Heart rather than someone out of the newspaper or on a list?
There are several reasons why A Chaplain's Heart should be your choice for companionship and home care. First and foremost: We have the BEST caregivers. All caregivers are screened and insured. We pay our caregivers so you don't have to worry about figuring out taxes. AND, A Chaplain's Heart's staff of quality employees ensures that the most compassionate and reliable caregiver will be there for your family member or friend. One of the things that makes our agency stand out is that we will always have a caregiver available for you.

What happens if my caregiver gets sick or is unable to work?
That is why we employ a caregiver team approach. If one caregiver is sick or otherwise unable to work, another is available to meet your home care needs.

You are in charge – we are on "your" schedule.
You are in charge of everything. We will not dictate to you what your schedule is to be (such as what time to get up, when to bathe, meal schedules, etc.). It is our job to adjust to your schedule and make certain that you remain comfortable in your own home. Our senior care is the best because our caregivers are outstanding!

During what hours is the agency available to receive calls?
Our business hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 5:30. We also have emergency telephone numbers for our clients that they can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to be able to speak to a live person.

How far in advance do arrangements have to be made?
All we usually need is a 24 hour notice.

What are the minimum and / or maximum hours that can be arranged?
